How long will it take to get a EIN number if I do not have a US SSN?
The IRS's online EIN application system is not available to applicants that do not have a US SSN. Applications without a SSN are faxed in by our team and the wait can range from 4 to 12 weeks. Prior to the pandemic, they had options for expedited services, we are still waiting to see when that will become available again.
