Sydney Angels is an angel group whose members invest in innovative early-stage companies with high growth potential.

Sydney Angels offer early stage businesses the opportunity to attract investment and time from experienced professionals. Sydney Angel investment syndicates are backed by the $10M Sydney Angels Sidecar Fund.

Sydney Angels investment criteria are broadly: 

• High growth potential businesses with a credible team; 


• Businesses seeking $100K-$1m in funding, with typical investments of $300k-$500k and pre-money val of $1-4M, reflecting stage and potential.  Startups seeking higher vals need to be advanced with exceptional potential; 


• Located in Australia

Some types of business are not suitable and should not apply, including: balance sheet lending, property developers/owners, mining exploration and operation, “bricks & mortar” retail, gambling, illegal drugs, or films.
