Our Investment Focus

Angel Investor Forum (AIF) of Connecticut invests in early stage companies ($3m - $10m valuation; exceptions for exceptional traction) in a broad range of industries throughout the United States. Our angels have a special interest in companies located in Connecticut or those willing to relocate or establish a presence in the state. In general, we seek companies engaged in scalable activities with a clear path to exit. In our screening process, it is helpful if your company is referred to us by an AIF member, angel investor syndication colleague or investor partner / affiliate.

Our screening committee reviews applications by the 4th Monday of each month (note -- we do not screen companies in July; if you apply after the 4th monday in June, we will not screen your company until the 4th Monday in August)

Our investment range is $200k - $500k including a member based fund (representing 20% of our member base) that invests $125k - $150k per deal.
