IMAF RTP (A Member of the Inception Micro Angel Family of Funds) is a committed member-managed angel capital fund. Investing primarily in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina. IMAF-RTP is a part of North Carolina’s IMAF Family of Funds and seeks to invest both dollars and time in seed stage, high growth companies and spin outs from Duke University , UNC Chapel Hill and their medical schools, NCCU and NC State University. Our ideal investment is within 6-9 months of generating revenue, solves a significant problem by providing a compelling product or solution, has reasonable barriers to entry, has a Pre-Money valuation of $3M or less, a funding requirement of less than $3M to reach profitability, and is located in NC/VA/SC.
