Company Summary

YouRock will help young people under 24 across Europe to build an online employability profile and to help them understand they skills they may already have that are attractive to business. It will also encourage them to create online content that highlights these skills and that the ICT industry may be a good career choice for them. Only 17% of young people use LinkedIn and there will be 1m unfilled ICT jobs by 2015.

    In 2013 I founded YouRock which will support employability for young people across Europe. Back in 2010 I was a founder, and Chair of Telecentre-Europe, a network of eInclusion organisations, comprising 30,000 Telecentres. Prior to this, I was Head of Business Development for UK online centres. In 1996 I founded COSMIC an NGO technology centre in the UK employing young people to deliver ICT training and website design for the local community.
