WF (Bill) Ortiz is a Texas native. His mother was an elementary education teacher for over 30 years and his dad worked for the US Postal Service. During his school years he was a dedicated student-athlete excelling in many sports including football and baseball. Bill played football at the University of North Texas. Bill’s business experience includes Xerox, Ikon and Business Consulting Services

An English teacher for over 25 years, Sheila has trained teachers for the New Jersey Writing Project in Texas since 1990. She has won awards with McGraw Hill and a BP Grant for "Imagine the Future". Her professional career includes teaching middle school English at Killough Middle School, Alief ISD, O’Donnell Middle School, Alief ISD and John Paul II Catholic School in Houston, Tx.
