YDreams Robotics is specialized in robotics, mechatronics, AI, and the Internet of Things. Market-driven from the beginning, we expect to launch our first mass-consumer robots in 2014.     An entrepreneur. YDreamsRobotics CEO and Assistant Professor in Computer Science at IST. Before, he headed Innovation at Nokia Siemens Networks Portugal SA. At Siemens he worked as Senior Solution Architect leading international teams. In 2004 he received a PhD in Computer Science at MIT CSAIL Humanoid Robotics group. He invented 6 international patents, and authored ~100 scientific publications. He holds various scientific and innovation awards.
