XTI Aircraft Company is developing the first commercial vertical takeoff airplane in aviation history -- the TriFan 600. This six-seat airplane will have the speed (350 mph), range (up to 1,500 miles), and comfort of a business jet and the ability to takeoff and land vertically, like a helicopter. It will save owners and users hundreds of hours a year in total trip time because they won't have to travel on the ground to and from airports.

    Founder and Chairman of XTI. Has had a life-long passion for aircraft and technology. In 2013, he developed the current TriFan 600 configuration, and formed XTI’s Board and executive team to expand, refine, and execute the plan in 2014. He has several patents issued in his name for inventions in aircraft technology and other fields, and has written three books, including a national Book-of-the-Month Club best seller on science and technology.

    Chief Executive Officer

    Former CEO of AgustaWestland North America: “I view this position with XTI as a unique opportunity,” LaBelle said, “to help bring to the commercial market and business jet market a revolutionary new aircraft that people have been dreaming about for over 100 years.” Before Agusta, LaBelle was in the U.S. Navy where he was program manager for the E-2 Hawkeye, C-2 Greyhound aircraft, F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales, and S-3B Viking aircraft.

    Board Member, former interim CEO

    Aviation executive and pilot with over 35 years of experience. Served as COO and President of Cessna Aircraft Company from 1997 to 2003. Manager of Production Flight Test. Prior to joining Cessna served as Chief of Production Flight Test for Gates Learjet. Began aviation career after completing U.S. Air Force pilot training in 1968 as an F-105 pilot. Over 1,000 hours of military flight time in the F-105, combat in Southeast Asia.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Diverse experience in investment banking, private equity and operations. Chief Financial Officer for NEK Advanced Securities Group, an international portfolio of companies including defense contracting and aviation. Led NEK through a successful exit from the business in 2012, realizing an EBITDA multiple of ~15x. Vice President at private equity firm, and spent several years in New York in investment banking.
