Company Summary
Medication non-compliance is one of the major problems in advancing age, particularly those with cognitive impairment. Several methods have been attempted to improve compliance, however, success has been limited. Geri-Safe has designed a unique patent pending automated medication management system that is capable of holding a 30-day supply of up to 15 different medications as well as non-pill medications such as inhalers and eye-drops.

Having initiated the launch of significant new medical products. He has consulted with both start-ups and established companies in biomedical engineering on both technology and developmental issues for new product development. While at Cornell, he consulted on several patent infringement cases.

Ailiang NieCTOAiliang Nie serves as the organization’s CTO and he is responsible for the physical product development. Nie served as a vice-president in product development and product manager in Motorola, Inc. (China headquarter) and Haier Group Corporation (China headquarter) for a combined 15 years. Nie successfully managed and launched various of products to the market for both Motorola, Inc and Haier Group Corporation.
