Company Summary

Special Kids Academy is a non-profit private school for students with disabilities grades 1-12. We also have Special Kids Dance & Performing Arts which opened in 2005. We teach children and young adults with special needs ballet, tap and hip hop dancing. It is important for these children to have exercise for muscle strength, balance, to build confidence and social skills.

    Lisa is a parent to a daughter with Down syndrome, she inspired Lisa to open Special Kids Dance and Special Kids Academy. Lisa is the dance teacher and Administrator. It is very rewarding work to help children with disabilities be the best they can be.

    Rev. Earl Baxter is our pastor and classroom facilitator, he enjoys working with the students and believes these children are gifts from God and have great potential to do great things.
