WittyWorX is in development of IXI-Play, an advanced high-quality yet affordable robot platform offering young children engaging and challenging playful interaction. This addresses the need of numerous parents to make their children responsibly occupy themselves and simultaneously sufficiently support these children to become the best they can be. Although children are the users of IXI-Play, their (grand)parents are the actual customers.

    Bart Dirkx is founder of WittyWorX. In 1997 he graduated as Mechanical Engineer at the Eindhoven University of Technology after which he worked for Philips Electronics and TNO as project leader, group leader and business developer. He was Team Captain of the Philips RoboCup Team, organized the RoboCup European Championships 2006 and a Philips China business tour. Bart is Executive Master of Business Innovation at TiasNimbas and father of 3 kids.

    Ruud van der Aalst is founder of WittyWorX. In 2009 he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer at the Eindhoven University of Technology. During his research and work, robotics has been a recurring topic of interest. Before starting WittyWorX he worked as a control engineer on robotic surgery and was involved in a few entrepreneurial activities. One of those activities being starting up a company based upon university knowledge of robotic surgery.
