In 2004 Jacob created Leash Conceptual, a company whose focus was creative conceptualization and graphical execution for global pharma brands. Most recently, he oversaw design and digital compositing/FX for Disney Online’s “Rule The Mix” in Los Angeles

    Began his career in educational software, transitioning into clinical trials, finance and finally media. Has led teams dedicated to site reliability, horizontal scaling and performance at Medidata Solutions, AOL, The Boston Globe and Patch. Built a payload recognition engine responsible for caching highly requested audio content in realtime for use in highly concurrent environments (currently being used by CBS Radio).

    Began his career in interactive television at Interaxx TV and later transitioned to production management at MTV Networks and Disney/ABC while freelancing on music videos, commercials, and video games for TVT/Interscope Records, Revlon, Michel Gondry, and Templar Studios. Entered recruiting world in 2006 and built engineering and design teams for New York Times, Scholastic, Media6Degrees, Vimeo, AOL, Patch, MapQuest, SoundCloud and ShutterStock.
