His goal is to turn Willstream into the dominant pan-African payment network, taking an example from Visa’s beginnings. Prior to Willstream Toffene held senior roles with Redknee, Alcatel-Lucent & Atos Origin. Toffene is based in France.

Shayan joined Willstream for its ability to change the world by addressing a real problem, recognizing its ability to impact the lives of millions of migrants while improving financial inclusion of merchants in developing markets - all without sacrificing profitability which is the only way to build sustainable development.
