    After graduated from Florida State University, I joined Teach for America and was a middle school English teacher in Greater New Orleans, Louisiana. Following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, I worked as an organizer for an environmental non-profit organizing communities to become energy efficient. Currently, I am a graduate student at George Mason University pursuing a Masters in Public Policy, and work for an education non-profit.
