Our e-Prescribing switch routes standardized e-Prescribing messages between trading partners, which are prescriber systems, pharmacies and health plans. E-Prescribing is a computer to computer transaction, so each trading partner relies on connecting to a switch in order to avoid connecting to the many different systems necessary to perform their role in e-Prescribing for their market areas.
