Company Summary

We’re tackling the three biggest barriers to adoption of solar and efficiency in the most fragmented residential markets: 1) awareness, 2) credibility, and 3) complexity. Weave works with solar installers and energy efficiency product vendors to incentivize existing customers to refer their friends to purchase the product or service. We use a hybrid SAAS and revenue sharing model for our co-branded solution.

    CEO

    Max is a Yale graduate who is dedicated to solving problems related to climate change and energy security. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina, he founded an NGO called Climate Voices to highlight the human rights impacts of climate change. He has given TEDx talks and been recognized as a Udall Scholar and Forbes 30 Under 30 for energy.

  • Sherwin Yu
    CTO

    Sherwin studied computer science and biochemistry at Yale. He is an experienced software engineer and product designer who shares a passion for solving societal problems like climate change. He has worked at tech companies like Google and Rapleaf. He won second place at the 2012 NYC Cleanweb Hackathon, is a contributor to ember.js, and has received recognition at numerous programming competitions.
