I intend to make seawalls obsolete. Releasing compressed air near the seafloor before and during the approach of a destructive wave will reduce that wave's energy to a safe level. I've published a book "Wave Goodbye--Simple Tsunami Mitigation" and have sought out experts to confirm or refute this idea. So far, no takers. I would like to perform experiments on this concept in the wave tank at Oregon State University.
