We do this by producing and selling water at individual properties. Just as SolarCity has become the nation's first fully distributed energy provider, WaterCity is becoming the nation's first fully distributed water company.

  • Maeve Murphy
    CEO and co-founder

    At 33, Maeve brings 8 years of business experience with an emphasis on supply chain management, distribution, logistics, and ERP software development. She also has 2 years of executive management experience with a non-profit organization. Maeve co-founded a private foundation and serves on the Board of Directors as treasurer. She is an expert in the nexus of water and entrepreneurship, on leave from her MBA program to run WaterCity.

  • Jeff Langholz
    CTO and co-founder

    Jeff developed the initial WaterCity idea and is an internationally recognized expert in the nexus of natural resources and business. He has 28 years of experience working on water-related topics in the U.S., Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Jeff holds a Ph.D. from Cornell in natural resource policy and management and teaches part-time at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (www.miis.edu).
