We seek to integrate use of flow through electrode capacitive deionization or other nano-tech means with a microbial application to provide potable water and useable pathogen-free sludge from waste water &/or contaminated surface-water. The sludge can be used as fertilizer or in gasification at communal level for electricity and heat. Approach can be packaged for individual dwellings or small villages & skid mounted for refugee camps or urban use
