Company Summary

Launched in 2010, Washington’s Next Gen is a program of the Washington State chapter of The Nature Conservancy (TNC). Led by a volunteer Board, Next Gen hosts approximately 18 conservation-centric social/networking/educational events annually for Seattleites in their 20s to early 40s. Over 350 people are on the Next Gen mailing list.

    Board Chair

    Dan Ronco works as a Business Manager in McKinstry Company’s Electrical Services Division in Seattle. While excited about working on renewable and energy conservation projects, he also enjoys the challenge of developing a strong foundation of young leaders who share a passion for the environment, and a willingness to do something to protect it. Dan has undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Seattle University

  • Alina Niklison
    Board Vice Chair

    Alina grew up in Argentina where she studied Zoology and later moved to Missoula, MT to complete a Masters in Wildlife Biology at U of Montana. After managing restoration programs at Five Valleys Land Trust (Missoula, MT). Alina is currently Philanthropy Officer of the College of the Environment at UW. She has been a board member of the Westlope Chapter of Trout Unlimited and presently serves in the Board of Directors at Five Valleys Land Trust.

  • Adam Janicki
    Treasurer and Member, Board of Directors

    Since graduating from Gonzaga in 2007, Adam has worked in the audit practice of KPMG LLP. Prior Board experience includes the Fulcrum Foundation on the Board of Trustees (2010), Audit Committee (2010), Finance Committee (2010-present), and Board Member and Chairman of AMICI; and Christ our Hope -Parish Finance Council (2010-present).

  • Brett Coleman
    Member, Board of Diretors

    Brett is Vice President and Co-Founder of Waypoint Health Innovations. Prior to joining Waypoint, Brett held positions in product management, marketing, finance, and corporate development at AT&T Mobility, CVS Corporation and Ontyx Inc., a clinical informatics software provider. Brett earned an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago and a BS in Engineering Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University.
