Walia-TUCEG Panels Ltd. is a startup company registered in Belize, in the business of setting-up and managing manufacturing facilities that produce a building material known as (EPS) Expanded Polystyrene Wire Mesh 3D Panel (the “Panel”). The Panel replaces conventional construction technique that uses hollow blocks. Using Panels provide builders with significant savings in construction costs about 30%, and a reduction in construction time by up to 300%, while maintaining structural integrity to code. In addition, the Panel acts as a natural insulation system providing energy efficiency.

The Project involves setting up a manufacturing plant in Kombolcha Ethiopia, located in the Amhara region which will comprise of 1 molding & cutting line and 3 welding lines. The proposed project will generate a capacity of 1 million Panels per year of which 40% will be exported to major global distributors and 60% will be consumed locally through contracted distributors. An exclusive 5 year distribution agreement (the “Agreement”) for the Amhara region has been achieved, holding more than 3 million m2 of construction projects. The Agreement guarantees minimum orders of 300,000 Panels per year over the exclusive period, ensuring a minimum monthly order of 25,000 Panels and a 50,000 Panel ($2.5 Million) bank guaranty on receivables.
