VLNComm’s LiFi solution is an alternative innovative wireless data transmission technique to WiFi, using optical energy via LED light/panels to provide simultaneously both illumination and internet communication for indoor environment. In addition to two-way wireless communication, we have also developed one-way IPS communication (indoor GPS) with a variety of applications such as communication with robots.

    Dr. Noshad received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2013, and was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University until June 2016. Dr. Noshad has received the “Best Paper Award” at the IEEE Global Communications Conference (Globecom) in 2013. He was also the recipient of the “Louis T. Rader Graduate Research Award” from Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Virginia.
