In June, Visura received FDA 510(k) clearance for its TEE Camera Assist Device (TEECAD).

The TEECAD single-use camera device easily attaches to an existing TEE ultrasound probe to allow the physician to view the esophagus rather than placing TEE probes blindly which can lead to failed intubations and potentially catastrophic complications such as esophageal and pharyngeal perforation. Images are viewed on the TEECAD Viewing System.
