Village Green is increasing the level of food self-sufficiency on the island of Kauai by providing training, technical support, and needed labor to farms and gardens in ways that increase their productivity and resulting profits via the sale of locally grown food. Their methods include aquaponic systems that raise both fish & vegetables simultaneously, organic and permaculture methods of crop management, and the use of superior soil amendments.

    advertising and marketing (all islands of Hawaii) and associate with the Small Business Development Center at Kauai Community College and later as Director of the USDA-funded Agriculture Training Program.

    Mr. Tsao is an internationally renowned aquaponics expert. He has specialized in international Aquaculture/Aquaponics training & development for the past 22 years and led outreach teams completing projects in seven different nations. He serves as a consultant in Aquaculture Aquaponics programs, and as a member of the Industrial Advisory Committee with the Center for Tropical and Subtropical Aquaculture representing the island of Kauai.

    Ms. Bruch has over 25 years of experience in organization management, resource development, program design/implementation,and organizational capacity building . She holds a BA in Economics from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Masters in Development Management,. She has served in senior management roles with programs in agriculture and rural development. She is an accomplished organizational leader and successfully employs skills of team management.
