Viction is a French startup company specialized in the development of IOT products; we are currently developing the V1, an Android smart home router convertible into a tablet with 4 radio modules: WIFI, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Zwave, able to control the entire home through the smartphone, tablet, smart TV or PC.
In 2020, there will be between 50 and 80 billion devices connected in circulation worldwide, according to estimates by Gartner and IDATE. According to IDC economic analysis firm, in 2020 connected objects will generate a total value added of USD 8.900 billion.
Home automation technologies represent the next level of evolution in the residential sector. After the hospitality sector, residential real estate has the maximum demand for automation which delivers higher levels of comfort, convenience and sustainable practices.
There is no Zigbee & Zwave running routers or tablets on android, the 2 fastest growing protocols of tomorrows automated home.
V1 will be integrating these radio modules to enhance consumer interaction with the M2M (Machine to Machine) but also the Zigbee and zwave product manufacturers which will be able to interact directly with their with their final customers through Android applications.

Viction will derive revenue from the V1 devices, technology patents, applications, and Data mining. Each device will be sold at €350 with screen, and €250 without screen on its initial Kickstarter campaign, the price will then be readjusted according to the market feedback. The margin per tablet is around €150.

Team:
• Antoine Aimar – CEO, entrepreneur for the last 10 years, has been living in china for 8 years and partner in 2 companies. He has been for the last couple of years managing the business of his family: SEVE (www.seve.net); specialized in the manufacturing of PCB & consumer electronics.
• Mohsan Aziz – Developer, Graduate from ESME SUDRIA, working as a linux & Android developer for Viction, he is in charge of writing the drivers and protocols of the radio modules.
• Hugo Xie – Electronics technician, graduated from XiDian in China and with a Master’s degree from Polytech Grenoble (France), he is in charge of the electronics division: PCB routing & components.

Finance:
Viction is currently seeking €210,000 in Seed funding. These funds will be used to finance the development of the V1 router tablet for 2016Q1. The creation of marketing and kickstarter campaign to drive merchant and customer adoption in 2016Q2. At the conclusion of these activities, the company expects to begin sales by 2016Q3 and Return on Investment by 2016Q4.

Viction will hold the status of JEI (jeune entreprise innovante) – Young innovative enterprise, which has many advantages such as having no corporate taxes and low salary taxes.
