Company Summary

We create networks of smart bicycles that are available to rent instantly for short trips, offering inexpensive transportation and improved mobility for any community. Despite being a fraction of the cost of transit or parking infrastructure, viaCycle can serve thousands of rides per day. Users can access bikes 24/7 with only a phone, and can ride anywhere. Unlike existing systems, viaCycle requires no installation and no infrastructure.

    Kyle has a MSME. Kyle worked for the Ford Motor Company to develop urban transit solutions. Kyle’s most impressive accomplishment outside this startup was convincing fellow undergraduates at Johns Hopkins University that a cappella was a serious artistic endeavor.

    CTO

    Sid has a MSME. Sid helped start a Formula SAE team in undergrad that was the first teams in India to compete internationally. Sid also worked for the Ford Motor Company to develop urban mobility hub solutions.

  • Koji Intlekofer
    COO

    Koji has a MSME. Koji worked to help Ford plan its corporate electric vehicle strategy. During the summer of 2008 Koji was forced to leave his internship at the Ford Motor Company and seek treatment for cancer. Determined not to let the inconvenience affect his progress, Koji sought aggressive treatment and rehabilitation, and was able to resume graduate work at Georgia Tech the following fall on time, and with significantly less hair.

  • Yuriy Romaniw
    VP Engineering

    PhD ME Candidate. Yuriy has worked with Boeing to perform an environmental assessment of various manufacturing processes. Yuriy was captain and president of the Georgia Tech wrestling club from 2005 to 2008, where he tripled the budget and quadrupled membership, while also organizing one of the largest wrestling tournaments in the southeast (The Georgia Tech Open).
