Vermod, in collaboration with the Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB) and Efficiency Vermont, has developed a prototype for a high performance mobile home replacement unit. Vermod received funding from the the High Meadows Fund to design and manufacture a demonstration unit which is now nearing completion in its Hartford, Vermont factory. VHCB allocated $200k which will result in ten Vermod replacement units within the year.

He has been building affordable high performance residential buildings in collaboration with Efficiency Vermont for over a decade. He was Efficiency Vermont's Partner of the Year in 2012. Steve started Vermod this year with the sole purpose of manufacturing high performance mobile home replacement units in Vermont.

Chet PashoModular ConsultantAfter building custom homes for 35 years in Vermont and winning multiple awards for energy efficiency, Chet Pasho joined LaValley Building Supply to help build Preferred Building Systems (PBS), an innovative modular factory. In four years, it became the leader in producing energy-efficient high-performance homes for builders. After retiring from PBS in 2012, Chet became an Energy Consultant and has been acting as Plant Manager at Vermod.
