Verlitics provides a low-cost, Cloud-connected sensor that captures real-time building electricity use, including the signature associated with each device using that energy. Proprietary, cloud-based analytics use this signature information to identify when each device turned on or off. Additional analytics use this information to immediately identify usage, operational and maintenance patterns that result in wasted energy.

David has over 18 years of manufacturing, finance, business development, and operations experience. Before Verlitics, David was COO of Home Comfort Zones. Prior to Home Comfort Zones, David was VP of Customer Operations for CTI (healthcare), VP of Finance & Operations for Genedax (EDA) and Internet Product Manager for Mentor Graphics (EDA).

    VP of Engineering

    Josh manages the Company’s software, hardware, analytics and web development. Josh has over 17 years of product development, management and executive experience. Before Verlitics, Josh was VP of Engineering for Home Comfort Zones. Prior to Home Comfort Zones, Josh was a Senior Software Architect at Microsoft (MSN), VP of Engineering for Centricity (networking software) and VP of Engineering for Genedax (EDA software).

  • Hal Gene Alles
    CTO

    Hal works on the Company’s advanced energy disaggregation analytics. Hal has over 40 years of research, development and executive experience. Hal began his career at Bell Labs where he did groundbreaking research on interactive digital communication, 3-D graphics systems and music synthesis. Hal went on to found Silicon Compiler Systems (EDA) which was sold to Mentor Graphics where Hal became CTO. In 2002 Hal founded Home Comfort Zones.
