Ana Sofía has over 30 years of experience and in banking and finance. She worked for 20 years in the Colombian banking sector in credit risk analysis, control and management. She had authority to make loans up to US$200,000 while working for commercial banks. Since 1999 she works as a consultant to MSME sized enterprises assisting them in financial planning, development potential.... Executive committee member of WWB Bogota.

Rico has over 16 years of experience as a microfinance specialist. He has served as project officer, trainer, regional manager, country manager and deputy regional manager for South East Asia. He is particularly strong at appraisal, evaluation, installation and upscaling MFIs. He has developed numerous financial products and services, reviewed countless business plans and analyzed an endless number of financial projections and budgets.

George founded Venture South in 2008. He saw the niche above microfinance and created VS to small and growing businesses. He had the vision to build the network using a unique structure relying on a network of local expertise. He has guided VS from a start up to managing a global portfolio.
