Company Summary

VeloMetro Mobility Inc. has developed a personal vehicle and supporting sharing system to help people move across a city easily. As a fully enclosed 3-wheeled pedal-electric vehicle, the “velomobile” fits between two categories: the car and the bicycle. VeloMetro is driving the velomobile to market through the shared mobility business model.

If you work, live, or play in the city and want flexible personal transportation without the usual torment of urban travel, our Veemo vehicle sharing service liberates you from traffic congestion, the need to have a driver's licence, inactivity, exposure to the elements, and the cost of operating a car.

Because our vehicles are regulated as electric bikes, we avoid traffic congestion by using bike routes, and our riders don’t need a driver’s license. They have electric motors and an automatic transmission that makes you feel superhuman when you pedal it around the city, while being protected from bad weather and the dangers of the road.

It’s carsharing - without the car! Download the Veemo app and ride to your destination in minutes. Veemo is designed for urban cores, campuses, suburban transit hubs, and towns that may not have well-developed transportation systems. Easy, fast, economical, and active - Veemo makes you feel good about getting to your destination.

VeloMetro launched a Veemo pilot fleet at the University of British Columbia in the fall of 2017, which was successfully completed in April 2018.
