Our initial focus is improving risk prediction 10x for postpartum hemorrhage, the leading cause of maternal deaths and complications in Labor and Delivery. James Weimer is a computer engineer, medical device developer, and currently an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University’s School of Engineering. Dr. Weimer’s research focuses on modeling variability and dataset shifts, removing anomalies to enable predictable performance of learning-enabled cyber-physical systems. He is a serial entrepreneur and prolific algorithm developer.
