Company Summary

Our modular patented carbon fiber recycling process scales rapidly to address a gap in the composites supply chain. It's like a carbon fiber washing machine inside a shipping container. We deploy these units close to the source of composites scrap via our Hardware-as-a-Service subscription platform. Vartega’s carbon fiber and specialty thermoplastics are used in sporting goods, additive manufacturing, and vehicle lightweighting.

    Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Maxey founded Vartega Carbon Fiber Recycling to develop superior carbon fiber recycling processes and thereby drive sustainable and widespread carbon fiber adoption. Prior to founding Vartega, Mr. Maxey served as Vice President, Engineering at CO2Nexus: directing their design and development efforts in novel carbon dioxide technology and process applications.

    Vice President, Engineering

    Mr. Kline leads technical hardware development for Vartega. He brings over 8 years of experience in the oil and gas processing industry, and has designed and applied relevant hardware solutions for high pressure gas and liquid applications. He has extensive experience in pressure vessel design, and is equally capable performing thermal and sustained stress evaluations using computer aided finite element analysis.
