Our company name is Valyria Inc and our product is uHungry, which a mobile application that offers on campus food delivery to students.

Our business model:

Delivery Partner:
Anyone can sign up to be a uHungry delivery partner. Once reviewed, the partner is added to the uHungry system where they can begin accepting order requests from our customers. By offering delivery strictly for campuses only, the partner can take advantage of free time in between classes to make some extra income. Mode of transportation will be by foot.

Customer:
The customer downloads the uHungry app and can begin ordering food right away. They can track the status of their order and once it is arrived, they will be notified.

Pricing:
Addition to the price of the food cost, the customer will also be subjected to a delivery charge. The delivery charge is a percentage of the food cost with a minimum flat rate set. All payments are handled within the app to prevent exchange of cash.

Profits:
Profits are derived from the delivery charge. We will take a percentage of the delivery charge while the partner will receive the remaining amount.

Future Growth:
When an order is made, a delivery charge is added on to the total, and we take a portion of that charge, while the delivery partner takes their commission.

This model allows us to be profitable from day one. With little overhead cost, we only pay out after the company receives payment and therefore allows us to scale properly.

uHungry does not own any restaurants or have employees and because of this we can scale quickly and effectively across schools. Our goal is to expand across Canada and the United States to be in every university and college across the continent.
