ValidVoice™, LLC (the “Company”) has developed and is now marketing a next-generation biometrics technology. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the Company also has operations in Australia and New Zealand.

The Company’s Speaker Validation Engine™ (SVE) technology offers enhanced security features for numerous applications by validating individuals based on their voice. Whereas speech recognition identifies what the speaker is saying, speaker validation confirms who is speaking. In addition, the SVE processes are text independent, meaning that free-flowing conversation can be used in enrollment and at authentication. Compared to text dependent solutions, this provides significant flexibility across a range of security requirements. The SVE’s accuracy and efficiency enable an improved customer experience, increased security, and reduced overall operating costs.

The processes surrounding the technology are patented in the US and Australia, and additional patents are pending. Over ten years have been invested in the on-going development of the technology, including a groundbreaking pilot with the Australian government that significantly reduced fraud by authenticating citizens contacting a call center to receive government benefits.

The technology is language-independent, can be integrated with other systems for multi-factor authentication, utilizes existing investments in telephones and microphones, can be managed remotely, and includes tests for “liveliness” to ensure recordings are not used to replicate an individual’s voice.
