Steve CollinsFounder and Executive Director
Steve Collins is a medical doctor with a doctorate in nutrition & has worked in aid & development since 1985. Steve developed the Community based Therapeutic Care model in 1998, an innovation later adopted by the WHO now called CMAM, & has since been central to the development & expansion of CMAM using Ready to Use Foods. Steve received an MBE for his services to humanitarianism in 2001, is a respected academic & a Senior Fellow of ASHOKA.

Alistair Hallam is a medical doctor & qualified economist. He has worked in the area of humanitarian aid for 24+ years managing relief programmes all over the world. Alistair worked as a research fellow at the Overseas Development Institute & is expert in evaluating humanitarian aid programs with a focus on cost effectiveness. He worked for many of the world’s leading donor governments & aid organisations including the Central Bank in Mozambique

Paul Murphy is Chief Executive of Valid Nutrition since 2009. Formerly Chairman & Chief Executive of Unilever Ireland where he spent 27 years in a variety of different roles & countries, having joined the Management Development Programme as a trainee after graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Economics & Business Administration. Experience in Unilever spans marketing/sales & 15 years in senior general management positions.
