Passenger is a mobile app and website that makes it easy to lookup train schedules, specifically for commuter trains. We generate revenue solely through advertisements. Advertisements are primarily filled by ad exchanges. Our app displays train schedules more quickly than alternative solutions, and we aim to available on all major platforms. We are building the app in a way that it is easy to deploy on any new platform whether it be Android or the Web. Right now Passenger only provides schedule information for the Metro North, but commuter trains tend to use the same data format (GTFS), so we will be able to expand to other stations such as the Long Island Rail Road and New Jersey Transit without significant changes to the core infrastructure.
