Company Summary

Since 2006, Tyler Perry has dominated 48% of the African-American box office and television market. Research has shown that, although his audiences are loyal, they’re bored with the repetitive themes and less than intelligent filmmaking that he produces. We plan to disrupt that market by providing passionate, well-written stories, free of clownish, stereotypical roles. Networks like Oprah's OWN have already licensed our films for distribution.

Recently Oprah Winfrey's network, OWN, licensed another of Mr. Berry's documentaries entitled "Dark Girls", featuring Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis.
