Co-Founder and CEOKevin graduated from Brown University with a degree in Engineering and Computer Science. In college Kevin was the co-captain of Brown Formula Racing, a student engineering team that designed, built and raced a formula style racecar. Kevin began working on Uproot as a student. In 2019 Kevin won the Brown Venture Founder Prize and the Rhode Island Business Competition which both provided a $50,000 grant.

Co-Founder and COOJacob Coway graduated from Souther Methodist University with a degree in finance and marketing. Prior to co-found Jacob was the Director of Operations at doughbies, a bay area cookie delivery startup. Jacob is vegan, passionate about food and an avid marathoner.
