Crowdsourced voting decides which video receives a virtual trophy or tangible prizes. Brands are able to leverage the platform to engage their consumer base with their own sponsored challenges.

Co-FounderJeremy, a graduate of IIT's Chicago-Kent College of Law, started his first company when he was 15 years old (an e-publishing company that was slightly ahead of its time). Since then, he has participated in about five startups. In 2013, Jeremy worked as the lead UI/UX designer for Trackbill.com, which has gone on to raise six-hundred thousand dollars in financing. Later that year, Jeremy founded Uppd with long time friend Stefanie Bassler.

Co-FounderStef applies design thinking in all that she does. A fail-fast and fail-forward mindset makes for quick iterations in her pursuits. Her experience as an innovation consultant and her Master’s degree in Business Innovation has provided her with the tools to segment the marketplace, identify pain points, and craft concepts that solve for powerful insights.

Software EngineerVikas has been programming in Java since he was 16 years old. In the past seven years, he has worked with various other languages, including C/C++, Objective-C, Javascript, PHP, and Erlang. Most recently, Vikas built an iPhone application that allows users to connect to and manage servers via the SSH protocol. In 2013, Vikas earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Illinois Tech.

Graphic DesignerJoe learned Photoshop at the ripe age of 12 and has been working as a graphic designer for most of his life. He worked as a corporate graphic designer between 2011 and 2013 and currently designs promotional content for music producer Randy Jackson. His unique blend of abstract art and experiential design has developed him into a unique UI/UX warrior.
