UTD’s preconcentrators collect trace levels of airborne chemicals, vastly improving explosive, chemical weapon and narcotics detection.     Dr. Lederer worked for Louisville Medical Center Development Corp where he assisted technology start-ups with business planning and funding . He led large engineering teams on $100 mm+ projects, and worked on project finance for large-scale chemical plants in third-world countries. He has a BS and MS in Civil Eng'g and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Rice University and a Phd from the University of Louisville

  • Thomas Roussel
    CTO

    Mr. Roussel is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Eng'g at the University of Louisville. He possesses MEng and BS degrees in electrical engin'g. He is experienced in the design of MEMS/BioMEMS devices and an expert in the design of electronic controller systems MEMS devices. He provides considerable manufacturing and engineering insight to the prototype design team.

  • Martha Hettinger
    VP Operations

    Ms. Hettinger has both engineering and business experience with large and startup companies. She co-founded a business in Louisville, KY, and worked at Cummins, Inc where she was involved in quality control, marketing, business development, and product development. She has a mechanical engineering degree from University of Dayton and a MBA from Harvard University.

  • Robert Keynton
    Chief Technical Advisor

    Dr. Robert Keynton Chairman of the Dept. of Bioengineering at the University of Louisville where he is a University Scholar. He has a PhD in Biomedical Eng'g from the Universit of Akron. He has led research teams in the application of MEMS-based devices for use in explosives detection enhancement for the Dept of Homeland Security and the National Institute for Hometown Security.
