Uknowte is an intelligent notetaking web app for students based on the Cornell notetaking system. Using markups, such as hashtags and brackets, notes are intelligently organized as they are being written. Uknowte stores notes to the cloud, allows for easier review of notes, and is mobile compatible. Using innovative techniques to efficiently write class notes, Uknowte offers students from middle school to university a platform for better learning

  • Azmat Zuberi
    President

    From Toronto, Azmat found IT to be his passion at a very young age. He learned several hacking techniques, and was mostly preoccupied with testing and troubleshooting new software and hardware. He became certified as a computer and network technician and earned an Achievement in Arts and Science from UofT. Realizing the opportunity of making a notetaking app for students, he co-founded Uknowte to help solve many problems students are having.

  • Adrian Zuberi
    Vice-President

    Adrian Zuberi is Co-founder & Vice-President of Uknowte and is a Mathematics & Computer Sciences Teacher at Toronto Prep School. He is a Certified Member of the UK Institute of Physics and the Ontario College of Teachers. He holds a B. Math in Theoretical Physics from the University of Waterloo and a B. Ed from the University of Toronto. Adrian designed and implemented the school attendance system on the cloud and coaches the engineering team.

    Marketing Manager

    Erum has always excelled in the Arts, growing up as a creative writer with a passion for media, analysis, socialization & optimization, she found a calling when she entered into the University of Guelph-Humber’s Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies (specialist in PR) program. From there, she continued to excel in various marketing roles in major nonprofits, as well as TD Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility; Social Media & Dig Comm dept.
