CryoDesalination is quite different from the processes with which you are familiar. It has no fouling or scaling problems. It requires no chemicals for pretreatment of seawater, which greatly reduces operating costs. It desalinates by freezing. Freezing is very energy effective. It requires only one sixth of the energy of modern machines.
