Company Summary

UCT has developed a patent pending 2-way communication protocol that allows for the precision delivery of individual data commands to and from 3-D geographic areas as small as 6” square. Our system is designed to be used as a communication backbone for emerging “Internet of Things” technology where precise geographic location is critical, scalability is of paramount importance, and cost is a vital component in widespread adaptation.

    Dr. Shcheglov received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1992, 1996, and 1997 respectively. His graduate research was on the fabrication and characterization of Group IV semiconductor nanocrystals. From 1997 to 2007 he worked at the Micro Devices Laboratory at JPL. In 2007 he joined Sensors in Motion as the Chief Engineer, working on commercialization of the DRG tech developed at JPL.
