We do this through thoughtfully designed solutions that fit existing clinical workflows. We develop, manufacture, and market medical devices based on proprietary gel technology. Our first product, Perf-Fix Otologic Gel Patch, replaces surgical eardrum repair with a clinic visit.

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Horn-Ranney has led her team to win national and international accolades for Tympanogen's disruptive eardrum repair technology and directs research projects aboard the International Space Station. Dr. Horn-Ranney earned her BSE and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University. She serves on multiple boards, reviews grants for the National Institutes of Health, and is active in the entrepreneurial community of Virginia.

Co-Founder & Advisor
Dr. Khoshakhlagh is the co-founder and CEO of GC Therapeutics - a biotechnology startup spun out of Dr. George Church's lab at Harvard Medical School. She has a PhD in biomedical engineering from Tulane University and was a postdoc in the Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology program. Her expertise resides in translating bench research into a clinical setting.

Co-Founder & Advisor
Dr. Ranney guides product development toward a physician-friendly format and identifies new opportunities for our gel technology. He completed his pediatric residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and has an MD from Louisiana State University. Dr. Ranney is currently a pediatric hospitalist at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Health Center.
