TurtleCell is a smartphone accessory company that specializes in protective cases with auxiliary features. It's flagship product is an elegant and efficient solution to the easily recognizable problem of lost, damaged and tangled earbuds. TurleCell is a smartphone case with integrated headphones which retract into the case when not in use. Young professionals and college students living in urban environments are our initial target market.

    Paul has a M.S.E. in Energy Systems Engineering and a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. During college he managed an exterior painting business that generated over $1.1 million in revenue and employed nearly 110 employees for the summer. Paul also has 7 years of CAD and consumer product experience, which allowed for TurtleCell's creation. Currently Paul is working part time as an Energy Consultant with HDR Inc.

    Nick is currently a senior at the University of Michigan, studying mechanical engineering. Nick previously ran a franchise business for three years generating over $1 million in revenue and employing 100 employees. He was named Entrepreneur of the Year of the company his first year, and Executive of the Year the following two years. Nick is currently in charge of business operations, sales and marketing for TurtleCell,

  • Ryan Waddington
    Lead Advisor

    Ryan is a managing Director of Huron River Ventures based in Ann Arbor, MI. Ryan began mentoring TurtleCell when he identified with the tangled problem and the saw the potential for a complete solution. With over 15 years of experience in early stage investing and fundraising, Ryan has been involved in 20+ investments at the seed, venture and growth stages. Currently, Ryan is assisting TurtleCell with raising its first pre-seed round.

  • Jeremy Lindlbauer
    CMO

    Jeremy is a senior at Michigan State University studying supply chain management and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining TurtleCell, Jeremy worked for three other startup companies focusing on marketing. He has also had corporate consumer product experience working for Johnson & Johnson within their demand-planning division.
