I am a biomedical scientist with >20 year research and drug discovery experience. I discovered the structure of CD44, one the most recognized biomarker of metastatic invasion and cancer stem cells. I bring excellent analytical skills and strong team leading experience to the team and have proven success in identifying and characterizing new therapeutic targets and translating that knowledge to novel therapeutic approaches.

The death of my wife, mother of my 2 young sons from cancer, started 17 years of learning on how to stop this deadly disease. I have 20 years of experience solving complex biological problems by integrating the right technologies into new systems. I have successfully directed design and launch of molecular diagnostics systems working for Beckman, Gen-Probe, and Becton-Dickinson.
