We fund initial development through outside sources such as government or commercial clients. We also transition technologies from universities under licensing agreements. We have a patent pending on our first technology, a system for detection of lead in paint.

    Dr. Stader has been involved in R&D for over 30 years and led numerous multidisciplinary programs in the development of Chem-Bio defense technologies for the government. These programs produced advances in instrument design and prototyping, process development, chemical formulation and testing & evaluation. Dr. Stader also participated in transitioning these technologies into the commercial sector through both manufacturing and licensing.

    Co-Founder and Managing Partner

    Mr. Charles E. Murphree, Jr is the founder and President of the SGBC Group. Mr. Murphree has spent the past 30 years working in the Defense Industry where he has participated in many technology development programs for various Federal Agencies and the Department of Defense. Mr. Murphree technical expertise lies with new product realization and quality function deployment to include product planning, product design, process planning and control.
