Erik Van Eaton, MD, FACS, is a faculty member at the University of Washington in trauma surgery and surgical critical care. He is the original innovator behind the CORES Smart Handoff app, inventing the concept of role-based patient list relationships in 2003 as a surgical trainee. He's widely recognized as an expert in the use of electronic technology to support handoffs and situational awareness.

David spent the last 10 years working Healthcare Information Technology and in particular electronic medical record (EMR) development, implementation and integration. Prior to founding TransformativeMed, he held the position of EMR Application Architect at UW Medicine. While at the UW, David led a partnership with Cerner Corporation to develop and utilize the MPages development platform.

Rob Arnold is the former president and CEO of Geospiza, Inc., a leader in cloud computing solutions for genetic analysis (sold to Perkin Elmer in May of 2011). Prior to Geospiza, Rob founded and served as chairman and CEO of Crossport Systems (sold to Lineo/Metroworks (Motorola) and ST Labs, a leader in software quality assurance and testing (sold to Lionbridge).
