Company Summary

TrainTool enables trainers to train soft skills online, improving training's effectiveness & company's bottom line. We're the first to enable ONLINE SKILLS PRACTICE. Since Jan '12 we got to product 1.0, 6 paying clients, signed up another 40+ training companies for trials (NL, UK & USA) and are integrating with 2 resellers. Won Startup Awards & Innovative E-Learning Award 2012. Among others, it's used at ABN, ING, University Utrecht.

    Master Economic Geograpy, Universiteit Utrecht. Research at Randstad from ‘94 to ‘95, 5 years PWC, several consultancy roles from 2001 to 2004 (Voxius, Newstrat, AEF). Started assessment agency Van Slagmaat & De Geus in '05 and worked here until going fulltime TrainTool in Aug 2011. Supervisory board De Maatschappij, People4Change, RAVU and Rotary member. Started a website for hotelbookings with Peter van der Reijden in 06. This was sold in 2009.

    Master Business Administration, Erasmus University Rotterdam (cum laude)
    Experience: first paid programming job at age 12. While studying, worked at Coolblue (online retailer) and Fairchild Marketing Consultants and started two companies. LineLink, a webdevelopment agency and, together with Marijn de Geus, Hoteltijd, a website for hotel lastminutes that was sold in 2009. Fulltime in TrainTool (first called Markable) since March 2010.
