Tixers allows ticket holders to trade in tickets for up-front credit. The credit can then be used towards any future event, including sports, concerts, and theatre productions throughout the country.
Purchase can be made via available inventory, or submitting a custom request.

FounderAlex Burkhart previously held roles in loyalty marketing and systems project management at Macy’s Inc. Alex also has an extensive background in understanding the ticket industry. Alex grew up traveling to every Major League baseball stadium with his father and has been to 500+ sporting events. Alex has been running the day to day operations and strategy build out during Tixers time in the Uptech accelerator program.

Chief Operating OfficerColumbus Organizer/Facilitator for Startup Weekend and founder of Ohio State’s largest student marketplace, MarketOSU. Through MarketOSU, he facilitated the transaction of over a thousand textbooks and tickets. Jay is a former Pace Setter at the Fisher College of Business and TechColumbus Student Entrepreneur of the Year. Jay manages sales as well as leads the marketing efforts, with a bit of design and front-end experience.

Kenny OlsonCo-Founder/AdviserKenny was a member of the team during the first development of the company at a Startup weekend event. Kenny invested money and time towards getting Tixers up and running and has continued to be a solid adviser from a financing and marketing perspective while he works full time as a Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble.

AdviserTarek is the founder of whatifsports.com that he sold to Fox Sports in 2005. He is now Executive Director of Online Strategies at InfoMotion Sports Technologies which produces a smart microchip basketball that is in in Apple retail stores across the nation. He has been an adviser of the company since first hearing the concept pitched. He is the director of the Tixers board and provides strategic guidance across several functions.
